A Truly Exceptional Hinterland Retreat! Positive: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review: A Truly Exceptional Hinterland Retreat! ​We recently had the pleasure of staying at Gardners Ridge Estate in Maleny for a three-night walking group retreat (four couples in total), and the property was nothing short of magnificent. This sprawling, two-level estate is truly special, offering both grandeur and an incredibly comfortable, home-like atmosphere. ​The Perfect Group Sanctuary ​The design of the top level is a masterpiece for group stays. The kitchen, dining area, outside entertainment area, and living room all flow seamlessly together, creating a stunning, open space where we could cook, dine, and relax without ever feeling separated. This was definitely the highlight of the home and perfect for our evenings together. ​The accommodation was ideal for four couples. The master suite, with its private ensuite and separate study, was an absolute luxury. The two other upstairs bedrooms were also generously sized, with two additional well-appointed bathrooms on the top floor. The fourth bedroom, located downstairs along with a separate bathroom, laundry, and secondary living area, provided excellent separation and privacy. ​Beautiful Grounds and Features ​The surrounding land is expansive, meticulously cared for, and truly contributes to the estate's peaceful vibe. The well-manicured gardens and the cosy outdoor fireplace added wonderful spots to relax and soak up the beautiful Maleny atmosphere. ​A Note for the Owners ​While our stay was five-star, we feel it's important to offer one piece of constructive feedback that would elevate the experience to pure perfection: we noticed a strong mouldy smell coming from the lower level as soon as we reached the internal staircase. Addressing this issue would undoubtedly resolve the only minor drawback of an otherwise faultless property. Negative: Downstairs: had a strong mouldy smell

Bridal paradise Positive: Location was excellent for the wedding venue (Tiffany’s). The bride was feeling unwell so we asked day-of if we could check in early and the venue was gracious enough to allow this. The rooms were stunning and the bridal “getting ready” photos looked incredible. Would stay here again!

Excellent - didn't want to leave! Positive: Everything was wonderful once we located the entrance. Hard to find when driving in a line of traffic. Beautiful grounds (loved the figtrees), Kitchen and equipment was great, plenty of room for 6 adults. Thank you for a wonderful stay
