Gardners Ridge Estate

Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay enabling 3 generations of the family to come together. Positive: The location was superb, lovely gardens, fruit trees and green rolling hills over the 5 acres. Great to have access to 4 bathrooms for our whole family. Our bathroom had heated towel rails which was necessary for the thin towells supplied. Terrific kitchen, dining table and access to BBQ facilities on the deck. Loved that the whole house was so large that each part of the family had their own privacy and yet could come together in central areas without being crowded. Negative: Would have been better if a bag of wood was provided for the fireplace considering the price and the cooler location. The fireplace was full of ash and needed emptying, as well as all the rubbish bins near the gate overflowing upon arrival. All the beds were a bit hard, with the downstairs bed having squeaky springs.

Hated leaving. Can’t wait to go back. Positive: The home was well fitted out with everything we needed. It was a beautiful comfortable home for our family of 8. The beauty of the surrounding area is also magnificent. Highly recommend.

Amazing except the Weather was horrendous for our wedding too wet .

Had a wonderful stay on an outstanding property. Positive: Outstanding gardens, setting, home. Negative: Queen size bed rather than double in the downstairs bedroom would have been great.

It’s a beautiful property that is let down by the furniture and the terrible moldy smell Positive: Well equipped kitchen. Plenty of space Negative: Moldy damp smell, overwhelming downstairs. Not enough furniture in lounge area or outside. Couches were very old and uncomfortable Constant pump or similar noise (every 20-30 seconds) in wall next to bed downstairs all night.
