Ocean View Apartment! 300m to Beach. Pet Friendly.

Amazing location and Super relaxing Positive: We liked the view of the ocean overlooking the pool. That we were able to take our dogs and have a yard for them was a big bonus. The interior had been furnished very thoughtfully and the location to local restaurants and so close to the beach. Negative: Access to the property could be a little clearer, and the garage roller door didn't respond well but other than that, we had a wonderful time at the unit.

Nice property but noisy with road traffic, wifi issues Positive: Well I would've liked to have given a better rating but I couldn't due to a few things traffic noise, dogs getting out of broken fencing, lack of external lighting, garden maintenance, wifi issues and no compensation offered for 7 out of 18 days no wifi. The property is overall lovely and has lovely views but could do with a bit of work outside. It was clean with exception of the fan cover in the main bathroom and the dryer filter. Also a few to many nick nacks around that aren't needed and just get in the way. Lounge furniture not comfortable 2 x 3 seaters would be better when the property can accomodate 4 sleeping. I'd get rid of the curtains in the 2nd bedroom and replace with a blind as the far end curtain you can't open as you can't get beside the bed on the window side. The kitchen had a good supply of herbs and spices but the cooking utensils need replacing as they are filthy. Certainly not enough toilet paper, rubbish bags, coffee pods for a long stay. I have had plenty left in other accommodation for longer stays. We were on the Sunshine Coast for full hip replacement for 1 of our dogs so had to remotely work and I have my own business so am always working remotely. Negative: The wifi dropped out on the 1st Monday contacted hosts wifi not back until Wednesday afternoon, the next Monday same thing happened wifi not back until Thursday afternoon, host aware no compensation offered even knowing that we were both working remotely and had to use our phone data which my daughter used all of hers. Way to many cushions on the furniture makes you feel like you aren't welcome to sit on chairs and you have to put them on the floor to sit down and these are white cushions. Couch and chairs in lounge area not very comfortable at all for lounging of an evening. Outdoor furniture really does need a good revamp, 2 chairs broken, gazebo filthy, front furniture flimsy and not very comfortable. Getting into the garage is a pain having to use a key to go in from the building especially with hands full and to be honest could be a fire hazard to escape in a hurry (this needs to be taken up with body corp), we actually parked in the street much easier with the gate right at the car. If you have a plug in Hybrid there isn't anywhere close to plug into power I ran an extension lead across the nature strip into the yard to the outdoor power point behind the BBQ. Grounds need to be cleaned up and trees out front cut back low hanging branches. Holes in back wood fence and some of the down rails on the metal fence are wider than others. Yes this is a pet friendly property but small dogs can get out of the fenced yard and it is on a busy noisy road. Ours are only little and got out on a few occasions. You can't enjoy having doors open or going outside for a coffee as the traffic noise is just to loud. The stickers on all the switch panels need replacing as you can't read them using a dymo machine would be good as the print would stay. The outdoor light at the main bedroom doesn't work and there needs to be path lighting from the gates in the yard especially with the big ball/rock near the path, I almost fell over this.

Fantastic Positive: Excellent location. The apartment is clean, beautiful, and has everything you need. You can tell that Jonathan puts effort into making sure guests have a great stay. There are also bikes and chairs available, which is a nice extra. In short: I loved it! Negative: One suggestion: improve the outdoor furniture. It’s in very bad condition and too dirty to use. That’s the only downside
