We loved our 6 night stay at The Avenue .Excellent communication from Jonathon. Clean cottage, with quality and comfortable furniture and bedding. Top-notch amenities. We ordered the Breakfast and dinner food packages and this was great value with delicious local produce! Perfect place for a couple, private and peaceful with a postcard view. Location is 3 kms from Montville main street so we recommend a car. In saying that, its also a walk with views which we did. Highly recommend this place for a stay.

It’s a beautiful cottage in a lovely location. Positive: The location was excellent and the decor beautiful. Negative: There was no wifi. Despite instructions on how to connect, it did not work. Most of the time we had no internet coverage. We also couldn’t access free to air TV. Also the towels would not dry so we had wet towels for the second day of our stay.

Lovely comfortable cottage Positive: Lovely cottage in great location with beautiful outlook Negative: Although it all worked on-line, I'm generally not keen on the remote / tech hosting. It is a "hospitality" business so I prefer to meet someone. If it was my property I would prefer to meet guests.
