The Avenue at Montville (Cottage)

Positive: Lovely place for a romantic getaway. Clean and comfortable and great communication from the host. Negative: Some of the cooking equipment was well used, but still ok to cook with.

We loved our 6 night stay at The Avenue .Excellent communication from Jonathon. Clean cottage, with quality and comfortable furniture and bedding. Top-notch amenities. We ordered the Breakfast and dinner food packages and this was great value with delicious local produce! Perfect place for a couple, private and peaceful with a postcard view. Location is 3 kms from Montville main street so we recommend a car. In saying that, its also a walk with views which we did. Highly recommend this place for a stay.

Nice break away in rainy weather Positive: Lovely and quiet. Rural outlook. Negative: No laundry facilities!

Positive: Great facilities, lovely view, peaceful with lots of wild life.. everything we needed was there. Negative: We are elderly and found their lovely sofas difficult to get out of. The steps to the outside were also a bit tricky for us even though the hand rail was there.
